A large-scale light installation commissioned for Planet X’s second edition. The structure is constructed of an array of two hundred high resolution linear LED bars. The work plays with the perspective of a vanishing point and creates forms that appear three dimensional, with light rushing towards a spectator the installation gives the sensation of traveling through hyper space.
During the event the installation was controlled in real-time, creating a multi-sensory effect, curated with the sonic performances and dancers, who interweaved through the illuminate array.
