A collaborative audio-visual performance with pillars of Melbourne's underground Sleep D. The show premiered as the headline act at Sun Cycle Festival and was performed again at the Forum Theatre as part of the Butter Session x Research records
The collaborative performance premiered both new music by Sleep D combined with a bespoke installation 'CYMETRIC' designed by REELIZE.STUDIO. The structure is intricately programmed and triggered by Sleep D's music – every visualisation is informed by the driving rhythms, hypnotic bass and world of echo that encapsulates the musical duo's distinct sound. Both pairs, audio (Sleep D) and visual (REELIZE), perform live on-stage behind CYMETRIC. This large-scale geometric light structure evolves in real-time to the collaborative sensory control from the collective performers.
